There are numerous articles on which technique is best.  Opinions vary and some farriers prefer one technique over the other.  In order to do what is truly best for the horse, I've done research on both and have come to the conclusion that there are pro's and con's to each...just "my" opinion.  To go even one step further there's the question of shoes or barefoot; this is obviously an option in both traditional and natural balance farriery.

It isn't my place, nor my desire, to push one technique over the other.  At the end of the day we simply have to ask the question, "what is best for this particular horse?".

Through assessment of your horse's conformation, primary use, environment, and the climate, I can make a professional recommendation as to what would be best for your horse.  I will answer as many questions as I can and if I don't know the answer right away, rest assured I will find it!
